My name is Darci, and along with my husband Heath and two kids Garrett and Faith, we are the family behind
The Rustic Shed.

It all started way before the doors were opened. I began creating and finding rustic decor when my first child Garrett was born. I wanted to have a way to stay home and raise my kids, while still being able to financially help my family. I began selling my creations and finds at local bazaars. Within a year, I started my own Pop-up that I would hold 3 times a year. When Garrett and Faith became old enough to not need a babysitter, I decided it was time to spread my wings and open the full time brick and mortar shop I had dreamed about.

 

In 2013, my dream became a reality, and I opened The Rustic Shed. A few years later my husband Heath began making furniture, filling in at the shop with the kids when I needed a little break, and working behind the scenes to get all the wood cut for our sign workshops. After 10 years, in January of 2023 we closed the brick and mortar shop and moved our business online and back to how it all started, doing Pop-ups 3 times a year.
